PYP has a strong reputation and currently serves a variety of long term contracts to collect, transport and dispose of waste for municipalities in Greece and Cyprus including:

- Municipality of Hersonissos, Crete
- Municipality of Vrilissia, Athens
- Municipalities in Cyprus
- Municipalities in Western Macedonia (in collaboration with Diadima S.A.)
Our Cypriot subsidiary, A/Z Perivallontiki Ltd has established itself as the Cyprus’ leading waste management provider, offering a wide range of waste management services and solutions to Local Authorities and commercial businesses. A/Z is currently offering dry recyclables kerbside collection services to 4 Municipalities of Limassol on a contract with Green Dot Cyprus Ltd. In October 2007, we also won a 2 year contract for the city centre, expanding our service area to a total population of 170.000 residents. We are collecting with our owned fleet and personnel 2 dry recyclable waste streams:
- Plastic Bottles, Metal Packaging (cans) and Cardboard Packaging
Our contract with Green Dot Cyprus also includes bin washing services and supply of 1100 lt bins, which we produce in our Komotini plant. In 2007, we installed GPS tracking systems on the vehicles used for this contract, according to the client’s requirements. These projects build on the company’s existing track record gained in the last years, which include Household waste Collection contracts with Communities of Tseri and Arethiou.
 
Furthermore, we have designed and are currently constructing 2 Waste Transfer Stations in a Joint Venture with Mesogeios S.A. These facilities are based in the provinces of Famagusta and Larnaca and will be have a total operational capacity of 100.000 tn per annum. Our company will operate them for the next 10 years according to stringent National and EU Standards. We will also supply the necessary mechanical equipment and trained staff for loading, screening, pollution control and maintenance.
Helesi Plc is serving several major municipalities in Crete. We have a fleet of more than 20 waste management vehicles based on the island. The fleet includes refuse collection vehicles, hook lifts and road sweepers of various sizes enabling us to offer high quality street cleansing and refuse collection services to every local authority of the region. Moreover, we have achieved economies of scale and constant availability of technical support for our vehicle fleet and our clients.
Our experienced team is currently delivering contracts with 4 municipalities, Rethymnon, Hersonissos, Malia and Vrahasi. These areas have the important characteristic that they attract significant numbers of tourists generating high peak volumes of household and commercial waste. These seasonal peaks require flexible collection systems, which respond to the needs of the customers. We have successfully designed and implemented such systems, which can apply both to local authorities and to private businesses, such as large scale hotel complexes and catering establishments. As a part of our integrated services, we have also supplied and installed waste baling and compaction equipment to several regional landfills of the region.
 
In addition, we offer very high quality street cleansing services. We have achieved high standards of cleanliness in the historical city centres, ensuring uninterrupted and discrete operations, respecting the local communities and assisting in the protection of local architectural heritage and natural environment. Our personnel and sweeper vehicles can navigate through the narrow streets and tourist recreation areas performing street cleansing and litter picking operations at the highest standards.
