Characteristics
Helesi's BioActor is a fast garden composter comprising stackable frames, which "grow" with the quantity and height of compost, thus facilitating filling and ensuring optimum ventilation. The stackable frame elements appropriate aligned in order to preserve a favorable air conditioning and to accelerate the rotting process by thermal insulation.
Process
The Helesi BioActor speeds up the composting process by insulating the decomposing material from hot and cold fluctuations in exterior temperatures, thereby guaranteeing constant and ideal temperatures for the composting process.
Properties
Helesi's BioActor has a capacity of 360L (5 frames) or 500L (7 frames).
Each frame has a volume of 72,5 liters and its outer dimensions are:

Every frame consists of three integrated layers:
- a perforated inner ventilation wall
- an insulating middle wall
- a perforated out ventilation wall
The perforations of the outside and inner walls guarantee a good aeration and optimize the supply of oxygen. The closed center wall prevents the direct influxes of cold air.
The frame elements are manufactured 100% from recycled regranulate.

At least 35% of all household waste is organic and compostable. Regardless of whether kitchen waste is composted at home or in central composting plants, the ultimate quality of the compost is dependent on the diligent and reliable sorting of the waste at the outset.

Tests have proved the high effectiveness of the BioActor. The protective lid with its adjustable aeration dome significantly increases the effectiveness of the composting process, particularly in extreme temperatures.
