HELESI Product Line

Helesi was established in 1997 as a world class plastics injection moulding business, making specialized plastic products of all sizes and capacities, primarily for the waste management industry. Helesi is the sole provider of plastic waste containers and bins in the Balkans and Eastern Mediterranean and distributes its products to 48 countries. Its two production facilities in Komotini, Greece and Bradford, UK are equipped with the latest injection moulding technology and the most modern range of moulds.

All Helesi products are manufactured according to the strict quality standards laid out by the European Union, using high density recyclable polyethylene, guaranteeing long life expectancy, resistance to chemicals, frost, heat and UV radiation. In addition to high quality production techniques, investment in logistics and unique loading methods ensure both product quality and the maintenance of a low cost base.

The principal Helesi product line consists of two and four wheeled plastic waste containers. The plastic waste bin market was the Company’s first field of commercial interest and the production and supply of waste containers for households and industrial waste remain its core activity today.

Waste Bins

The waste bin product line includes a wide variety of capacities for both two wheel and four wheel bins (10L, 25L, 60L, 80L, 120L, 140L, 190L, 240L, 360L, 400L, 500L, 660L, 770L, 1000L, 1100L). All containers can be equipped with several accessories, enabling customization.

Other products

Outside waste containers, Helesi’s expanding product line also includes:

• Pallet boxes used for agricultural and industrial purposes, a market driven by European Union regulation. Coupled with the design breakthroughs made by Helesi’s in house R&D division, which have reduced the cost of the manufacture, transportation (folding and stacking), storage and returning of these units, the Company has seen strong demand for these products.
• Pallets used for storing or transportation. Ideal for a great number of logistical operations, non-toxic, resistant to strong weather conditions.
• Plastic fish and food crates. Both types are designed to facilitate easy stacking, functional transportation and storage. They are manufactured with non toxic colors, certified for food products and can be fully customized according to individual client requirements.
• Plastic Bio Actor composters, which are ideal for sorting waste and composting, as they insulate the decomposing material. Proven to be effective the composters provide the optimum ventilation to accelerate the composting process.
• Plastic stadium seats, folding or non-folding, which are resistant to pressure and weather conditions. These products are tested to demanding international standards and available in a variety of colors. Helesi has supplied stadium seats to a number of venues for major sporting events such the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and the ICC Cricket World Cup in the West Indies.

All Helesi’s ranges demonstrate product compliance across a wide range of technical disciplines, assuring its clients of the durability, quality and safety of the items they are acquiring. The Company is certified to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standard and the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard System and its products are manufactured according to European and International specifications of TUV Management Service and are certified in accordance with EN840.
